Is CPI worth visiting on a first trip?
If you enjoy design shops and time by the water, set aside an afternoon for this part of southern Chengdu. CPI is at 188 Yazhou Road in Tianfu New Area; use the Chinese name 麓湖 CPI 北入口 in your local map for the onward route.
Can I do this walk alone?
Yes. Pick one or two shops you want to see and keep the rest flexible. You can make it a short browse or stay longer for coffee and a meal.
Do I need a ticket or a booking?
For a specific exhibition or event, check its current admission and booking details before you go. Check restaurants and shops separately if one is the main reason for your visit.
What if it rains?
